Lump10 Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 I have tried several times to install osx on my dell inspiron 1525, which is supposedly the best computer for this. I first tried installing tiger, and I burnt several copies and it kept saying Disc Read error midway through installation. I burned a new copy today. XxX 10.5.6 Leo Install Disc Rev1 - Hackintosh OS X Leopard It is a newer version. Well it wont even get past the initial black screen! It loads a few seconds worth of code, then it just stops.. The dvd stops reading, and it just sits there. I let it sit about 10 minutes just to make sure it wasn't trying to load anything, it wasn't. Why is it doing this? Am I doing something wrong because I have done everyone I have suppose to. I am new to the osx86 thing but I am not new to computers. michaspoli Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Try to buy an original Snowleopard, and Install it with EMPIRE EFI Boot CD, and after this install MyHack Installer. I think you Disk are corrupt, or you burn to fast. Did you tried Ideneb? Please write your Signature! What kind of graphiccard is inside the Inspiron?
