floe
Hello everyone, I'm currently running a vanilla 10.5.8 install on a Foxconn 45CSX mainboard (Atom 330 all-in-one). I've followed the guide for the Intel D945GCLF2 boards and (almost) everything runs smoothly. (BTW, thanks to iSynapse for the guide). However, the 10.5.8 upgrade has somehow downgraded my video resolution to 1024x768. Before I start replacing kexts etc., I'm curious about some background information which I haven't been able to figure out: - what's the recommended way of using an Intel GMA945 (8086:2772) on-board GFX adapter with 10.5.8? - I installed Chameleon 1.0.12 and the following kexts: - AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext - AppleIntelGMA950.kext - AppleDecrypt.kext - OpenHaltRestart.kext - Disabler.kext - dsmos.kext - IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext Now, I'd just like to know a) what these actually do, particularly the last 5, and is there any sort of directory where I could look for potential updates to them? Thanks, Floe Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/223415-1058-running-on-foxconn-45csx/ Share on other sites
