Hi! I am going to install SL 10.6.4 in my PC. I have MB ASUS P7P55D LE, and I have 3 HDD: 2 SATA and 1 IDE. I did my BIOS changes: HDD in ACHI mode and JMicron in ACHI mode too.

After of that I restarted with ##### and when I insert the SL disk and push f5 the monitor crash (the tittle of the units). Then I take the SL disc and press install... the system restart in a few seconds and starts again....

What happend?? With EMPIRE EFI is the same problem... I don´t know what I can do.

I have 2 partitions in each SATA HDD. ¿could be this the problem?

Thanks

PD. My graphic card is a ATI HD5670, and I know that is not supported by SL 10.6.4 but I would like to install unless my graphic card doesnt work 100%

Hi! I have i7 860 ¿where you put the busratio??? Thanks
Your CPU default busratio is 21 ( see Bus/Core Ratio here http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=41316 )

It might help you.... In chameleon, while selecting boot disk. You also may type there -x, -v and other options.

Thank you for your answers. I have tried to do following the guide with is in tonymacx86 (installing #####+#####) and I couldn´t do it. I think that could be my graphic card (ATI HD5670) that is not supported yet, but I thought that SL would use a generic graphic card to be able to install the OSX.

I think this because when I am installing SL all is ok but after the monitor shut down (no signal) and the installation I think that stops (because I can´t see the monitor to know what happens).

Any idea for this??

Thank you very much!!
