I've had success with my older fujitsu installing and loading first time. but I don't know how to install on this laptop. There's so many options for hackintosh I don't even know which one to use. Cam rc4? Samsung Q430 Intel i5 450m nvidia 310m atheros wifi It reboots right away during the boot loadup don't even get to the mac installation gui. it loads the boot with -x for like 5 min before it hangs up and reboots. bpherbst Posted July 2, 2010 Author Share Posted July 2, 2010 So I was able to install the iatkos s3 dvd with busratio=20 -x -v and install onto the hard drive. but then i can't get it to boot into the osx even using -v -x and busratio=20. It instantly reboots. I heard that means something wrong with bios settings, but here are like no options to change really in the bios. The only thing i changed was made sure its ahci and legacy usb disabled to get the touchpad working. I'm trying to capture the screen where it faults and reboots. its something along the lines as of no smbios and then it says starting darwin x86 or something and then reboots. if anyone could help i would be extremely grateful. Everything works great. Only thing I need to do know is what you said add busratio in boot.plist. I've been typing busratio=20 everytime. However I don't even know if its suppose to be 20. it works. the i5 450m is not on that list. heres a list of what's not working. wifi -atheros battery status - doesn't seem to show up. when i click show battery status in menu it gets checked and then goes away web cam - prolly never gonna get taht working. i dont mind. intel speedstep? - it shows 2.39 ghz unknown processor. is this right? is it using 2 cores? i have the i5 - 450m core I guess I'll look how to make it type busratio=20 too. thanks a lot! Macam and for the battery...did you try installing VoodooBattery? Did you also get sleep working on it? Because I put it to sleep just to test out and it "bricked" my computer (meaning it froze upon sleep; hard reboot and it didn't go past [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] screen) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
