I have been killing my Eyes on youtube and Google trying to find a step by step guide on how to install 10.6 onto my DELL Inspiron i1764.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed that's why I need a Step by Step guide to do things like this.

My current specs to my laptop are as follows:

-System Type :..................... x64-based PC

-Processor :..................... Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz, 2267 MHz, 2 Core(s) 4 Logical-Processors

- BIOS Version/Date: .............Dell Inc. A01, 11/6/2009

- SMBIOS Version :................. 2.6

- HardWare Abstraction Layer...... Version= "6.1.7600.16385

- 1 TB Hard Drive

- Integrated wireless N card

- Integrated Intel Graphics Media

Accelerator HD*

- Installed Physical Memory (RAM)......... 4.00 GB (soon upgrading to 8.00 GB)

- Total Physical Memory........................ 3.80 GB

- Available Physical Memory...................2.21 GB

- Available Virtual Memory ....................5.88 GB

- Total Virtual Memory...........................7.60 GB

Can anybody please help me? Remember, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so you might have to tell me....

1. do this and,

2. do that...

Thanks, for replying to my question about installing OS X onto my laptop, the people at Tony's site is very helpful. However I must ask you once again for help.

Though, tony is very helpful, the problem I will have once I install OS X 10.6 is the resolution. According to Tony and his crew there is no support for an Intel Integrated HD graphics card, it will only display my resolution at (1024X768).

Do you have any Ideas for me, so that I may solve this problem?
