Holbech
Hey guys.. I used this tutorial: http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required ...to try getting MAC OSX on my, Acer Travelmate 5520. All worked fine until i got to the BIOS part. At BIOS there are almost no settings i can change. The only setting i can change, as him, is the boot priority. If i boot from the USB-drive, the Apple logo appears as in his video, but 5 seconds after my computer starts rebooting. This happends everytime. Anyone know what i can do ? -Holbech Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/223271-almost-done-need-help-at-bios/ Share on other sites
jkammueller
Maybe this may help: I have the same laptop. when ever i use any means, of booting off disk media, my travelmate 5520 hangs at: ACPI: Stem State [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3). if im on verbose mode, i see that. otherwise, it hangs on the apple logo. Gringo Vermelho
On desktops you can sometimes get past that by doing a CMOS reset. But I have no idea how to do that on a laptop, or if it will help.
