I'll start with the system specs:

* Dell Dimension C521

* AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ @2.2Ghz

* ATI Radeon X1300/X1550

* 3GB DDR2 RAM

* 160GB Samsung SATA

* Windows 7, Ubuntu 10.04, Leo4All-10.5.2

I'm having a problem with my resolution in Leo4All-10.5.2. Leo4All shows as 'Mac OS X 32-bit' in GRUB, and I boot it. The screen goes black for a few seconds, and then I am presented with the monitor error 'Cannot display this video mode. Optimum resolution: 1280x1024 @60'

It's obvious that the default resolution is above my native resolution, but there seems to be no way to fix it. At installation, i didn't install any video drivers because there weren't any for the Radeon X1300/X1550. I can't boot into safe mode because my keyboard doesn't seem to work either (well, i don't get any lights coming up when i press caps lock)

Ubuntu and Windows 7 work perfectly at 1280x1024.

Is there anything I can do now, or anything I can do at next installation?

Many thanks in advance,

Joseph.
