Exo±
Hello, I spent the last few day with installing Mac OSX Snow Leopard on my PC. Here are my specs: Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 Graphics: Geforce 7900 GT 512 MB Sound-Chip: Realtek ALC662 Original Mac OSX Snow Leopard After some serious problems, I could eventually install it. For the bootloader, I use Chameleon 2.0 RC4 with fakesmc.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and PlatformUUID.kext. DSDT is also working, no bios reset occurred. For the video card I used NVEnabler, NVinject and Natit with the correct ID of the Geforce 7900 GT (I think it's 291), even though I couldn't find any place to put the ID in the Natit.kext. I also edited Geforce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext, NVDANV50Hal.kext with the ID. After this adjustments the resolution was correct with 1920x1080. For the sound, I tried VoodooHDA, no result. Also tried to patch AppleHDA.kext and install it, but didn't work either. I couldn't find any other ways to get my sound working. (this is my first problem) Second problem: Shutting down/restarting does not work properly. I tried the poweroff_fix but that didn't work. Third problem: The resolution works, but the animations and so on are still laggy. It can't play 720p-videos in fullscreen either. Is this a driver problem or a hardware problem? I hope I provided enough information for you. I would be very pleased if there's someone who can help me.
