Problem while installing kext

Hi, please don't flame me asking =[

 

when i use osx86tools to install a kext, for realtek RTL 8139 to be specific, i land into a problem.

 

i click install kext and when i point to the .kext file, i cant select it. It like greyed out.

both osx86tools and the kext are on desktop btw

 

what am i doing wrong?

 

edit: forgot to mention that when i use kext utility, it says install fine and reboot but when i reboot and check system/lib/ext the kext is not there
