tronnyjenkins
Hey guys, I have read up on all the guides I could find before starting the actual install and/ or hard drive work on my laptop. I know that the processor and hardware should be compatible. I am attempting a dual boot Vista Basic and OSx install. After all the hassle of partitioning, and having to move system files for windows to create a large partition, I can't get it to boot from my DVD. I downloaded a well known 10.5.2 (Kal) package deal and burned the .iso image to disk. That should be it right? Well the laptop (set in BIOS to boot from CD first) just spins it for a while, then the stupid vista progress bar pops up and loads windows. Any idea why the heck it isn't wanting to boot up??? i tried three different burns of the DVD, including one from my G5, still it will just spin for a bit like it's going to do it then loads Vista...
