Specs: -2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 cpu -4GB PC1066 DDR3 SDRAM (1GB x 4) -500GB Hitachi 7200 HDD (MacOS X 10.6.4 Volume) -640GB WD 5400 HDD (Windows 7 Volume) -DVD-ROM Drive -NVidia Quadro FX2700M 512MB Video -17" WXGA+ 1440x900 Built-In Display -High-Definition Audio -Broadcom WiFi -Intel Chipset (Q43 chipset as searched on Google) Everything mostly works but... -There is no way to sleep as doing so causes the computer to give a black screen and wont wake up so a power button press off and power button press on is required. -The computer gives a black screen after shutdown but does not power off automatically -The reboot hangs on black screen and does not reboot the computer so manual power cycle is required I have the Following power related kexts installed that should have made those things work fine but didnt: - SleepEnabler.kext (Latest one that is certified to support 10.6.4) - OpenHaltRestart.kext - VoodooBattery.kext - VoodooPowerACPI.kext Anybody have a good solution to fix these issues? HI I'm working on the same problem. I think the issue is related to the quadro video card and it's kexts..
