Vanilla install with a Gigabyte GA-P43-ES3G motherboard?

I am thinking of building a box that when fully built would be capable of running OSX with having to do to many tweaks.

 

I am thinking of purchasing a Gigabyte GA-P43-ES3G motherboard and placing that with a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor.

 

Would this be a setup that is highly compatible and capable of performing a vanilla install without much trouble and/or modification needed?

so far this build is simple you can replace the core 2 duo with a quad and there are some things i do not know about this build yet

OS X 10.6.4

Chameleon RC5 (C-States,P-States,DropSST,EthenetBuiltIn,)

 

List of Mods:

 

Audio: atlee's ALC888 kexts

HDAenabler.kext E/E

AppleHDA.kext & LegacyHDA.kext S/L/E

 

Ethernet: Did not work OOB.

Used Realtek1000SL.kext S/L/E

 

Graphics: For my XFX 9500GT used custom EFI string

GPU-Z,Nibitor,NVCAP Maker Required.

 

DSDT: Local0 fix,DGTP,_WAK,RTC(CMOS),HPET (Fix),

TMR,PIC,PWRB,IDE1 (SATA Fix),

_PTS+(LPC0)+OperationRegion (PMRS.. were modded for sleep
