Everything went well but when I have to register and enter my country, etc. I can't do it because my mouse and keyboard don't work. They are Apple ones. What can I do? Please help me. foreverdown Posted July 21, 2006 Share Posted July 21, 2006 my mouse wouldn't work, but the keyboard did, so i just used keyboard shortcuts to do these changes. however, if you can't.... read - plugin a usb keyboard and mouse. - open terminal and type "sudo bash" (without quotes), then hit enter the type the following, - chmod -R g-w /System/Library/Extentions/ApplePS2Controller.kext - chmod -R g-w /System/Library/Extentions/AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext - reboot, your keyboard and mouse should work. hope this helps.
