Hi, this is my first post here.

I'm running an Asus P6T, with an i7 920 chip. GTX 260 card, and 12GB RAM. I used the installation guide posted here, along with the attached files. I'd like to give a big thanks to all involved, as my Hackintosh runs beautifully straight from the install.

I have a few issues though: I had overclocked the chip to a mild 3.8ghz when in PC Windows guise. It ran stable (low) temps, and ran Prime95 (and all other programs) without hitch.

In Hackintosh guise, the same is also true... very stable and happy, however I've had constant restart screens and lockups in Premiere CS5 and in Final Cut Pro, and not whilst doing anything intensive either, sometimes merely on imports or short timeline playbacks. ALL other programs are quite happy. Even other components such as Photoshop and Compressor respectively.

I'd been pulling out my hair trying to resolve these issues, and out of desparation, reset all my overclock settings back to default\auto. Essentially, now a stock i7 920 @2.63

Premiere and Final Cut now run perfectly and without hitch.....

Am I making this up, or could the overclock be causing the issues in the editing programs? Even though everything is running properly everywhere else? (temps, prime95, geek bench, lots of other apps etc)

I'll help you guys out and post more details if the answer could be a yes....
