ashrithm
Hi guys! I downloaded iATKOS S3 and installed it today. I actually reinstalled it around 7-8 times today because I was not able to get the graphic card to work 100%. By 100% I mean, Changing the resolution too. This is the screen shot from system profiler: I tried installing with each one of the VGA drivers provided with the DVD but none of them work. I am getting a resolution of only 1024x768 where as when i used 10.5.5, I got 1024x1208 . PLEASE HELP EDIT: I am using a desktop and not a lappie

d-track
you only need a properly patched DSDT. search this forum there are already uploaded DSDT files for many motherboards. this is how i find mine for my asus mobo. if not the same model but the brand matches then also give a try first. or patch your own / ask someone to do it for you. this method is better than messing with kexts, because you will have the latest vamilla kexts. and to mention this is the only method worked for me. important: current 10.6.4 version of osx have only 32 bit drivers for gma950. you have to boot osx in 32 bit mode. if you use chameleon then kernel flag is: arch=i368
