JohnInSJ Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 On my in progress install (it's almost usable if I can just get SOME network up) the fan doesn't run at all... until the acer gets very hot, then it kicks in full speed (sounds like a jet)... When on AC the CPU runs full out, on battery it runs lower speed. SMCfancontrol 2.2.2 shows fan speed at 0, temp at 60c on AC, drops to a more comfortable 50c on battery.
