forsaekn
So I've been interested in this community for awhile now and I've tried several times with other types of hardware but never with hardware that had direct compatibility with Leopard or Snow leopard. So I'm going to build or in my case rebuild my PC start to finish on intel and nvidia parts. So here is my parts list... Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 CPU - Intel core i7 920 OEM CPU Cooler - Corsair H50 Graphics - PNY Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+ DDR3 512MB DVD - Liteon SATA HDD - Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200RPM SATA RAM - I'm looking for suggestions on this as I''m not very familiar with the types of speeds offered by this MB. PSU - Coolermaster Silent PRO M 600W Case - Coolermaster Scout And of course a retail copy of snow leopard, might as well since it's only $30. I will be using boot 132 but if you have any other suggested boot loaders I would like to hear it. I haven't totaled up how much this is going to cost exactly but I know it's going to cost something ridiculous, but it won't be that bad since most of the money will becoming from the parts I sell of my current PC. If you have any suggestions that could save me money or if you know something that might be more compatible I would like to hear it please let me know. I will update on here as I acquire the parts and when I have all the parts I will do a video of me assembling the PC and installing the OS and explaining various obstacles I had while doing this. This will be a fun learning experience for me and hopefully be helpful to anyone who finds this. Wish me luck.
