Seelenfresser Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Hi all, first post Yesterday I installed OSX SL 10.6.3 (+10.6.4 combo upgrade). After jumping through some fiery hoops I managed to get everything working beautifully. Well, sort of. I have a Behringer FCA202 firewire audio interface and the problem is, as the subject implies, that when I plug it in, it gets detected and there's sound but after a minute or so the mouse and keyboard stop responding. However if, for example, a video is playing in the background, it will keep playing for a while so it's not freezing per se... The problem goes away if I boot the system with cpus=1. BTW my board is Asus P5N-e SLI and my cpu is a Core 2 Quad 2.4G. I tried searching the forum and google but couldn't find anything that looks close enough to this. I really hope one of you can point me in the right direction...
