TimeShift
Hello mates, I'm here again with problems I choose on the preferences to turn the display off after 15 minutes of inactivity, it turns off, but doesnt turn on again, I've to reboot. I've installed a new BIOS and choose to 'Repost video on S3 resume [Yes]' to see if changes. I'll test again to see... But If this happened to you and you know how to fix, I would appreciate your help! Thank you. TimeShift
Using 'Repost video on S3 resume [Yes]' didnt helped. When I open a full screen game on CrossOver (I dont know native), it happens again. The screen goes to standby and I have to hard-reset. This wasnt happening on my old installation of 10.6.3 when I just edited the device id on ati4800controller, in this installation (actual) I used some pkgs that mald0n gave me. SilentViper
The -f flag is for what? i don't know what significance it has to this problem but it fixed it for me. it rebuilds kext cache Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221756-display-doesnt-turn-on-again/#findComment-1493815 Share on other sites
TimeShift
i don't know what significance it has to this problem but it fixed it for me. it rebuilds kext cache But only a single time? Or every time? Another problem is that, after my computer wakes from sleep, the screen gets completely f**** up. I cant explain, but its really strange, and I have to hard-reset, its not like the problem I said on the topic, but who knows, it might be caused by the same thing as this. Restarting with -F now... EDIT: Ok, going to test soon. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221756-display-doesnt-turn-on-again/#findComment-1493818 Share on other sites
