flukes1
I was previously using 10.6.2 which was working perfectly. Updating to 10.6.4 has seemingly broken my Ethernet connection. I can ping LAN IPs, google.com and apple.com, but attempting to load those sites in Safari comes up with a 'request timeout' message, saying that "the server timed out waiting for the browser's request". I also can't load my router's admin page (at http://192.168.0.1/). Using the mobo's built in LAN controller. Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-g31m-es2l Kexts: AHCIPortInjector, EvOreboot, FakeSMC, JMicronATA, LegacyALC883, NullCPUPowerManagement Incidentially the sound has also stopped working, but I reckon that can be fixed by swapping LegacyALC883 for VoodooHDA. Any thoughts? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/221754-internet-problems-on-1064-mobo-gigabyte-ga-g31m-es2l/ Share on other sites
