Hi there,

Have a question about my Msi Notebook.

Specifications :

Chipset : MCP79

Processor : t5800 (intel)

Video : 9300m 256 Mb

Audio : ACL662

Problem that i have is, that when i install the ideneb 1.5.1 leopard everything went fine, till he has to start for the first time. He is stuck at

Using 14417 buffer headers and 4096 clusters 10 buffer headers.

This are the things i have combined and tried :

Kernel : 9.7.0 Vanilla, Audio : ALC662, Chipset : AppleNforceATA (64bit), Video : Nvdarwim 256, Firewire Remover,

Changed the kernel allready to Voodoo, Allready leave the AppleNforceATA & all the other drivers.

He always installs the chameleon but i think that is how it has to be, I also installed the DSDT patcher, installed the ACPI/SSE2 fix. Anybody that has an idea what is hapening? I am already bussy with my 12'th install. About 6 hours later ;)

Thanks

Kind regards Peter

PS : Also Tried : IATKOS V7i (this one crashes at the startup of the notebook), Kalyway 10.5.2 (this one gets stuck on a failure of de ACPI, Empire Efi with original OSX snow leopard dvd (Gets into the installer, but than tells me that it isn't possible to install on my pc)..

use dual boot to be able to put the edited DSDT

MacDrive lets you access the Mac partition

if you prefer to make your own bootcd already with DSDT

use Dsdtse for Windows
