kday
I have an Intel D945GNTLKR motherboard. I am using SATA in AHCI mode. My SATA drive shows up correctly under Serial-ATA in the system profiler. Everything seems speedy, but in XBench I get a very slow uncached write score of 12.24 (1.3 MB/s). Every other score is near 100 or above. Does anyone with an ICH7R + SATA drive in AHCI mode know how to fix this? Here is the mobo I have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813121289 Also, I would like to mention that I am getting dependency errors with AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext. What exactly does this mean, and is it something to worry about? I guess fixing this is not really that important since I don't even notice any real world disk slowness. Just the score in XBench bothers me, and I can have OCD :censored2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22146-slow-uncached-read-xbench-score-with-intel-ich7r-sata/ Share on other sites
gwprod12
if you mean the score of 8 or so in uncached read 4k, it's unsolved. Intel Mac Minis get it too. Might be an xbench bug Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/22146-slow-uncached-read-xbench-score-with-intel-ich7r-sata/#findComment-146340 Share on other sites
