(+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4A, x86-64, AMD-V MB: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 Chipset AMD 790X Southbridge ATI SB600 Bios version F7 MEMORY:4GB (2*1GB)+(1*2GB) DDR2 400MHz GRAPHIC: ATI Radeon HD 4550 512 MB 500MHz SOUND: Realtek HD i have a problem :S installation won't recognize any HDD 2 HDD 1.HDD 250GB SATA (1. partition Vista(NTFS) 2. muchlife Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 installing on PATA on AMD machine is pain in the a$$ i tried several distros with little success, i ended up swapping out the SATA dvd drive, putting in 2nd SATA hd, and installing a spare IDE dvd drive in. installing to the SATA drive worked fine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
