How to do a Time Machine Restore with the ToH fix?

So I managed to severely #$@% up my beautiful installation by installing the wrong USB fix... I wisely did a backup with Time Machine.

The only problem is that my computer requires the ToH fix to use Time Machine and that doesn't come built in by default on any of my installation CD's.

I do own Leopard and Snow Leopard installation discs (aren't I a good little Hackintosh boy?), and I can load them using ##### if necessary for a solution.

The hacked builds I have are Kalyway 10.5.2 and iPC 10.5.6 Final.

if you have a backup, just boot any of the osx discs,

From top menu:

Utilities

restore from backup

Select your backup drive and the drive you want to restore.

Let it rip......

After installation, you will need to boot with the installation disk still in your optical drive because it does not restore the bootloader.

After first boot. install your bootloader and you should be good to go.

I'm not sure the TOH fix is necessary to restore from the install disk but i could be wrong. Have you tried it?
