gdscei
Hello, I am trying to install Snow Leopard, using these instructions: -Download/burn EmpireEFI v1.08_i5 -Download/Burn retail mac osx snow leopard -insert empireefi disc, eject when loaded and insert sl disc, press f5 and enter. Then, when i want (of course) to partition my partition to Mac OSX Journaled (Extended), It doesn't do it's job, it says something in the line of "cannot modify partition map". What do I have to do? Is there an alternative method or should i change something in the BIOS...? Specs: Intel Core i5-750 Gigabyte P55M-UD2 Samsung SpinPoint F3 Desktop Class HD502HJ (500GB, devided into 3 primary partitions: windows, system recovery, and mac, and one logical(extended) partition, for games.) ASUS EAH5770 1GB GDDR5 I have AHCI mode enabled, and use SATA3 HDD & SATA3 DVD Drive.
Beerkex'd
Use a separate hard drive for OS X and format it with GUID partition map. Anything else is a pain in the ass. If that's not an option, look for help/post here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showforum=

I got a dual boot now.
