MorLipf Posted June 9, 2010 Share Posted June 9, 2010 Hi, I have bought a used Dell TrueMobile 1505 from an eBay trader located in Hong Kong. The WLAN card works fine but there is a small aspect that makes me think that this card may be not genuine. On a sticker on the hardware there a many IDs (FCC, Subtel, CNC etc.) but the Subtel- and CNC-IDs consist only of a few "X", not real numbers. I have read that Subtel- and CNC-Codes are not needed in Hong Kong, but is it common to not print them on the wlan card? All other IDs are in place, even if they are not required in Hong Kong.
