barnett25
I just finished installation of the myz 10.4.6 image on my computer. My system is a Athlon64 3200+ with a gig of PC3200, a ATA HD (80GB), ASUS K8N motherboard and ATI 9800PRO graphics card. The system seems to boot fine (sound, networking work). But it seems very jumpy and laggy when navigating the GUI. I have tried searching on this site and the only thing I can find is that I may need a video card driver, but the one for my graphics card is no longer available(?). Is there something else I can disable/change, or another place I can get the driver? barnett25
Welcome Try this http://omni.starchaser.org/ I got to the part where it says "Replace my own PCI device ID with yours under the IOPCIMatch key (4150 is mine...)" System Profiler says: Display: Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: AGP VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4e48 Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported So I assume my device ID is 0x4e48. The plist has the following: <key>IOPCIMatch</key> <string>0x41501002&0xffffffff</string> What should that look like with my device ID in it?
