Studio XPS 16 Hackintosh?

I am essentially debating between buying a macbook pro or a dell studio xps 16 laptop, and leaning towards the dell.

When I get this dell I'd like to have a dualboot of snow leopard and windows, but am working on figuring out how well snow leopard would work out, the key components I want/dell offers are as follows:

CPU: Intel i7 720QM

GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 - 1GB

MoBo: Not sure... I believe it's built on the Intel PM55 chipset

RAM: 2 x 2 GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 1333 MHz

WiFi: Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250

(configured from this http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/con...=dhs&cs=19)

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these/this laptop and installing OS X on it, I would like to try to use either Boot-132 or ##### w/ ##### to install from a retail DVD

I know that there is no real support for the 5 series ATI cards, but Dell gives you no option here, and I understand there is some partial support? I could use some clarification on that...

Also, I included the WiFi because I'd really like support that, I do realize it's not vital of course

If it looks promising I will go ahead with this attempt and post my progress, I welcome any comments/tips/suggestions. Thanks!

Hey I just ordered this laptop with pretty much the same specs as you. I've been looking into a bunch of stuff and once I get it, I'll let you know exactly what I did if I get it up and running!

I actually stopped waiting for a reply and bought it, I bought one with the 4670 graphics card though, from the outlet store online. I've had a good amount of success with it, you can see what I did and what I have been unable to get working here:

Although if you just bought a new one, with a 5 series graphics card, itll probably be a different process for you.
