HDD Not visible in Disk Utility (Solved)

Hey everyone, 

 

I have a SATA II 1TB Western Digital Hdd, trying to install iDeneb 10.5.8 Lite ed., 

 

my specs are:

 

Amd phenom II x4 965, 

 

mobo: Asus M4A785TDV-Evo

 

4gigs ram

 

 

 

 

problem is:

 

I can launch the installer without any problems, my hdd is recognized in BIOS and I get "got boot device bla bla bla" message, setup launches but when I start disk utility to partition the drive, the hdd not visible. I tried with an older IDE drive, it shows up, but I want to install on the WD drive

 

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Solved: I changed the sata slot that the HDD was connected, problem solved.
