AnaTheTurian
Sorry if im not supposed to ask for help in this section but my Ethernet on snow leopard just wont work! Heres the device ID from OSX86Tools: 01:00.0 Ethernet Controller [0200]: Attansic Technology Corp. Unknown device [1969:1062] (rev c0) I've tried all the drivers i can find and thus far none work. System: Netbook Award Megastrands Bios as far as i can tell. Asus Eee PC 1001HA 160GB Internal HDD - 80GB External HDD for recovery purpose, has iDeneb 5.5 installed, cant get ethernet on that either. 1GB Ram Intel Atom Processor @ 1.6GHz PS: I got my drivers from here: Drivers? EDIT: Okay im getting somewhere! The last driver in that link: The Last Driver Seems to semi-work. It brings up the Ethernet adapter and lets me set an IP but as for internet, thats a no-go. It says Ethernet: OK. Settings: OK. ISP: Failed. Internet: Failed. Server: Failed. EDIT 2: Ok, so now im getting somewhere, if i specify boot flags -v -f -x then ethernet seems to work. (Basically in safe boot) but not normal boot mode, so im assuming its a conflict with some kexts. PS: If anyone has a good method of fixing this let me know, im also looking for wireless solutions also so if anyones got a good wifi card that works with snow leopard they can reccomend, reply here or PM me. -Any help is appreciated. -Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/219457-ethernet-issues/ Share on other sites
