Phorte
i just used kakewalk 2.2 for a similar build last week, using the same mobo: ga-x58a-ud3r. network won't work - you will simply need to download the realtek rtl1111e drivers from realtek and it will work straight away (i have a thread about it if u search). This page seems most likely: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloads...p;GetDown=false And the download link I am assuming under the "Other's->Mac" section? Then we use kexthelper to install it? congsang - If I have any issues with audio i will post it but from what i hear it seems to well with the Kakewalk method. thank you, dpc
Phorte
yep, thats the link! although it says its for 10.4 and 10.5, it's actually also for 10.6 too. once OSX is up and running, just download that driver from the realtek site then install it as you would install a normal .dmg in osx. its a real mac driver so install it like a normal mac drive. Daave311
delicatepc and Phorte, Do you recommend using the USB method(Phorte I saw in your sig you used USB) or CD method? I saw a thread that both of you have posted on for a Rev 2 support, did you ever get 'sleep' working correctly? Do you have any suggestions on a wireless card I can get that will be compatible? The build I will be attempting later this week: Intel Core i7-930 Bloomfield 2.8GHz Quad-Core GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R Motherboard G.SKILL 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 EVGA 01G-P3-1158-TR GeForce GTS 250 1GB 256-bit LG Black 10X Blu-ray Burner CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-850HX 850W SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA COOLER MASTER HAF 932 RC-932-KKN1-GP Black Steel Scythe SCMG-2100 Sleeve CPU Cooler Thanks people.
