sergxp
Okay so this started to be a power button issue topic, I figured that out with dsdt. Now I got bigger fish to fry. Dealing with the sleep. I spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out how to GET to sleep in the first place. When I would go to sleep my hd and display would turn off but the cpu fan kept idling and the power button stayed on. So today I finally figured it out and it was one of those things that you would never think of trying. I removed disabler.kext and nullcpupowermanagement.kext and FINALLY I could go to sleep properly. Everything would turn off and my power button would flash orange and my battery light would flash orange like it's suppose to. Now I gotta figure out how to wake up from sleep When I press the power button to wake up. It seems to wake up, the power button turns blue and the cd drive seems to start but that's where it stops. By the way i'm on 10.6.3 with the annappirtrvh v3 kernel SOLUTION The fix for waking from sleep was inside the bios. I turned off the usb legacy option and that did it. Soooooo simple.... sergxp
Well, I'm not sure how but I think the dsdt patching did the trick. Which is weird because before it didn't work. So it might of been a combination of the dsdt with something else, I don't know.
rgviewer
I am sorry for jumping in on this post but I realized you have the same Toshibia A135 as I do with SL installed and you got sleep working. I currently have osx 10.5.8 installed on mine but the fan only works sometime. Never on a cold boot, I usually have to either unplug/plug power cord in or do a soft reboot in order for the fan to kick on. I was wondering if you have the fan problem or if it was fixed with SL or something you did. I really like using a mac but with the whole fan problem I am worried about damage to my laptop. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
