drule Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 My wireless Mighty Mouse and MicroSoft BT Transceiver work great with my 10.5.7 installation, but aren't recognized when I boot into my 10.6.2 install. drule Posted May 20, 2010 Author Share Posted May 20, 2010 I've been comparing the two IOBluetoothFamily kexts, and the 10.5.7 kext (which recognizes my MightyMouse) has an additional PlugIns kext within it - BroadcomUSBBluetoothFirmwareDownload. Can I just drop that into the PlugIns folder of the SL 10.6.2 IOBluetoothFamily kext? Then rebuild the Extensions.mkext and make sure that the Permissions are correct?
