Okay, let me start out by saying I am 100% new to this whole process. I have tried IPC 10.5.6, and recently Ideneb v1.4 (10.5.6)

Up until recently I thought that IPC was the only software to get, and it never worked on my computer. My computer Specs are:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

Gateway LX6810-01

Processor: Intel Core2 quad cpu Q8200 2.33 GHz

Memory(ram): 8 GB

System type: 64-bit

Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GT120

With IPC 10.5.6 it showed the apple symbol, and immediately crashed. With Ideneb it loaded, and eventually gave me an error code. I'm wondering, do I need anything specific? I want snow leopard, but which kind (vanilla, ideneb, ipc etc..) would you recommend? I also would like to put it on my Asus eeePC with an intel Atom. It's specs are:

OS: windows 7

Processor: Intel Atom N4501.67 GHz

memory: 1GB

System type: 32 bit

Please tell me your recommendation. Help is much appreciated.

I have the exact same thing, except I got Win7 as an OS.

It's the MOBO--it's Nvidia Based--that's the problem. People had success either w/ intel, or, gigabyte, or this other type of board (can't remember the name)

Also, inside the BIOS: The SATA Controller is stuck in RAID Mode, I couldn't change it to AHCI.

Anyways, if anyone have solutions to non-intel based MOBO let me know!

Right now, I have success in partially installing the iPC on my HP Pavillion 1000

Click for Specs.

However, it keeps have have the firewire security mode error and cannot find disk error. I'm trying again, this time I have disabled the floppy in the BIOS as well as using VOODOO kernel and drivers. *crosses finger*

Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPCI.

Couldn't alloc class "AppleACPIPCI"

The it goes on saying

Still waiting for root device
