Dr Wu
Ok , I should have my DVD burned by the AM . I purchased my VGN-FE550G Sony Vaio due to the spec's being close to the MacBook's. I had planned all along to install OSX , but have been watching the boards till someone got it humming easily. Now seems to be the time. While waiting , I put Ubuntu on my laptop . What can I expect and how hard is going to be to get the DVD to run the with Linux being the only OS installed ? Anything special I should be aware of ? I have missed my lovely X so much ! Chrono86
I would say just watch your partitioning, make sure you don't copy over the linux ones! Chrono86
Just boot the dvd and format the disk using the disk utility in the installation program.
