Hey guys!

I already have a working installtion of SL 10.6.3 working on my pc,

now im trying to install it on my vaio laptop.

Tech specs:

CPU:

Intel Core 2 Duo t5600 1,83 ghz

Memory

1GB DDR2 RAM

Graphics:

NVIDIA GeForce go 7600 128mb

dunno which mainboard is used...

i dint find enough information to get it installed,

maybe coz its an old laptop...

first problem is that the installation stops with blackscreen

before the apple logo appears...

i thought i might install leopard with iatkos v7 on a small part

of the 160gb HDD and then install Snow leopard with retail DVD...

is that a good way? thats how i managed it with my PC.

maybe i just have to type the right commands, i already tried

-v

-v cpus=0

-v cpus=0 s

-v cpus=0 arch=i386 s

...

what is different to my pc installation is that, even if i type

-v, i dont get all the kext messages i have to...

some help would be nice =)

thanks!

... found another guide that said i shoud

type -v cpus=1 busratio=20

and i remember that was what i did on my

pc installation... but... no result =(

and, when the screen turns black, it seems

like the laptop is reading files on the dvd...

maybe its only the display that doesnt show me

whats going on?

any idea?

okay... this problem got solved, it was a hardware problem.

so now i get to the installation gui and i can choose the drivers and all

that stuff.

i already tried natif, titan,NVinject mobile and nvinject as graphic driver,

but everytime the installation is finished and it reboots, the screen

turns black after the apple logo. i can also hear the music of the

apple start gui, which means to me that everything is ok, but the graphic

driver doesnt work.

any suggestions?

thanks!

midian

P.S.: still trying all the drivers and any combination, but its taking its time...

always setting up a new install :-!
