I had few options to choose from for my resolution, but now they are gone just 1024*728 Any idea ? cmantlo Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 I have a similar problem with my sony vaio vgn-nr498e. I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and actually got it off of the blue screen at boot. Now I am running in a low resolution and can't change it. i have installed switch resx but it hasn't helped at all. i have read that i need a kext but can't figure out which one I need or How to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am building an I5 Hackintosh soon and I would love to have a dual boot with xp and osx on it. Thanks for all the future help.
