Hatorade
Has/is anyone out there having restart problems after completeing the OSX install? My version (10.4.6) is finished installing but is stuck on the restart page and nothing is happening. It's been like this for about 15 mins now and hasn't restarted. Is the install supposed to take this long to reboot? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21850-restarting-problems-after-install/ Share on other sites
Mebster
I have a similar problem. The file name I’m using is “10.4.6.install.dvd” (I think its Jas's). The installation completes fine but then it shows the same screen as Hatorade but with a countdown. After the countdown it restarts the pc itself and well... seems like nothing has happened. My pc looks the same as before I tried to install OSX windows still is the only thing available to load. I've installed OSx 10.4.5 before without any problems but I can't remember if there was a restart and if so what should happen after. Might have to do with what we select on the customise section. This dvd has soo many options (unlike the myzar 10.4.5) it difficult to know what to choose. So any help there would be parachuted also. Thanks for all the help guys. (I have a Pentium PC 3.4ghz) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21850-restarting-problems-after-install/#findComment-144368 Share on other sites

(I have a Pentium PC 3.4ghz) I have the same problem, I have P4 3.0 on an Intel 865GL motherboard. I used the patched 10.4.6 DVD. The text scrolls fast and is impossible to read before the reboot.
