Marky Mark Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Please help me!! I've tried everything I've read in these forums & I still can't get this thing working right. I am running iPC 10.5.6; I need to get QE/CI working on my Asus Nvidia N6200 PCI-e video card, so I can watch 720p .mkv video files using VLC. VLC won't show video but I can hear sound. I can see video using Quicktime with Perian installed but the video is choppy & it's driving me nuts. I have tried to install the Natit, NVkush, NVinject & NVdarwin kexts (each separately) at different times & none of them seem to work. I have deleted each one, then installed the next, rebooted with the -f flag to force the kext to load (& without the flag as well) and I get full resolution but no QE/CI supported. I have used OSx86 Tools & 9f23 Installer to add EFI strings & still nothing. Can ANYONE please give me step by step instructions on how to fix this? I'm going F*&KING CRAZY with this...what the f*&k am I doing wrong? Thank you for any help you might be able to offer, I am completely stuck! Marky Mark Posted May 15, 2010 Author Share Posted May 15, 2010 Sill no luck, I did everything it said except add the correct NVCAP cuz the link that the tutorial points to sends it to projectosx forum & they removed the example cuz they said it was outdated. I changed the info.plist for NVDAResman, NVDANV40Hal & NVInject & still no QE/CI. Is there something else I might be doing wrong? Is there anything else I could try, this is driving me f*&king nuts! The killer of it all is I HAD it working before I tried to add a different video card (which didn't workeither) so I reformatted & started all over...now nothing.
