ptolomy_was_right
Hi- I have a smooth running iATKOS 10.5.7 OS X install (dual-boot with WIN 7 Ultimate using BootThink v1); Almost everything works but my Firewire 400 port. Sys Profiler says: FireWire Bus: Warning: Unable to list FireWire devices. and in verbose boot/ -s boot it defaults to full-secure as it is unable to determine firewire status, although it is detected. I was told by someone that "It is not a kext problem. Your firewire is not gettig IRQ in dsdt"... How can I fix this? Any help appreciated, Thanks Sys spec Sony Vaio VGN-NR280E Mobile Intel 965 Express Family chipset Intel GMA X3100 Video (QE/CI enabled) Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66MHz T5450 CPUs 4GB PC2-5300 667 DDRII RAM 200GB Fujitsu Fast SATA HDD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218370-firewire-plea/ Share on other sites
ChrisB123
I don't know if I can help much but mine comes and goes. Also, have done a hardware update using osx86tools? Make sure you backup your kexts first. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/218370-firewire-plea/#findComment-1517244 Share on other sites
