Just downloaded iDeneb v1.3 i tried iPC as well but i had the same problem. I look everywhere to find a solution and i still haven't got one. Basically After i insert the CD. Then boot it. I type "F8 -v" and it wont load into the installation. I don't think it is my System configuration but Its here anyway:

Asus M3N-HT Deluxe

WD 1TB SATA HDD

3GB RAM

AMD PhenomII x4 3.0ghz

nVidia XFX 9800GTX+

Network: nVidia nForce Networking Controller

Sound: Not sure =/

DVD DRIVE Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-116D ATA Device

And I have a SATA DVD Drive aswell.

Any other information you need i will do my best to get it, if i know how. But I've been trying to install iDeneb for along time, just get the same Error. Thanks alot

I too were getting that same error, however my hardware is different from yours... but ultimately you have the same issue: waiting for root device..

Here is how I fixed mine...

1) the problem is not with the software...it's waiting on your harddrive

2) if you have two drives, format one in windows using diskpart, then set an active partition (if you don't know how to use diskpart, just google it)

3) boot from the CD or what ever you are using, I use atkosv7, when it gets the guid, use the disk utility to erase, format, and name the partition "Leopard" I don't know why but that worked for me.

Bottom line, you need to have an untouched partition available, 10+ GB/// but I would check your harddrive first to ensure you have available space and that you are working on the correct one if you have multiple... I {censored}ed up and formatted my share drive thinking it was disk1...
