mhc2002 Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 hi, i have moved a file in the Trash under OSX.stupid-proves a kext file from /System/Library/Extensions Question: Can i copy the kext under Single User Mode from the Trash to the Extensions Folder back? The Thing, my Laptop don´t boot anymore."Still waiting on root device" I have moved the ApplePCATA.kext in Trash and installed the wrong kext. Can someone help me please or tell me where can i find the Trash Folder in the Single User Mode... thanks for help.... greats... gwprod12 Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 in single user mode, go into Users/<your username>/.Trash (with the dot). Your file should be there, unless you emptied the trash.
