Sonic Intuition Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Hello, I just installed an ATI X1600 Pro card in my Hackintosh, and all is well, except for one minor thing - the login screen resolution is stuck at 1024x768. No matter what I do I cannot fix this. I've edited com.Apple.Boot.plist, and now the boot screen is at 1280x1024 (which is what I want) and the desktop is at 1280x1024 (also what I want). Switching the resolution in System Preferences works great on the desktop, but does nothing for the login screen. I've searched high and low, for hours looking for a solution to this minor aesthetic issue, but I can't even seem to find anyone else that's having this problem. So, if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it, I'd be really happy to hear from you. Thanks. Thanks though Update - I found a few people in this forum who are also having this issue but nobody seems to be responding to them. So I'm guessing there is no fix for this? I know a lot of people are using the MSI x1600 pro cards ...so I know there are a lot of people with this glitch - apparently nobody cares about it? It's annoying to me.
