Heya!

I got Asus z96jm/s96jm notebook with ati radeon mobility x1600 71c5 graphic :( and so far cant install my card.

I tried http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=185526 guide but didnt worked for me.

So until i find some way to get my graphic fully working, i wonder is there anyway to force diff resolution than 1024x768? It really hurt my eyes...

Ah i tried adding "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32" in chameleon.

Any other ideas?

Snow Leopard 10.6.2 by hazard.

If more spec is need i'll gladly supply it.

Looking forward for some answer

Cheers!

Ok managed to get resolution working by using my old kext's from leopard.

Any idea how to get acceleration?

ati x1600 should not be hard to get working, many people have been successful, search further into insanelymac.

Well is harder than it looks :P

Searched a lot here, and so far only guides i found (beside the one linked in OP) are for Leopard not Snow. :(

Tried using mix of my own Leopard kexts that helped me get resolution (ATIinject.kext and ATINDRV.kext) and some kext from OP guide, as long im not adding ATIframebuffer.kext system works but no QE etc.

Any suggestions?
