Is it possible to patch these retail install CDs to boot and install on my built PC to install OS X on it? thanks in advance! I want to be able to patch my retail DVD to install mac os x on any PC. Is this possible? What patch do I need? silverbullit Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 I would doubt it. Because the Jas patch is already in the installation options window. You'd have to burn a new one. I'd try looking for a patch. But just get one. It takes like two days. Way easier. Unless your doing it for the license. Which will still not work.
