Cartman Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 i have successfully installed osx using the dvd....thanks to bender and broadband...great job guys!!! however i have to put the device id on AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext for my sound to work.so its ok now..my only problem is the my stupid network card...hehe i guess i have to buy one that's supported or hopefully they can do fixes about this....other than that, everything is working great!! again thanks to both of you guys!! i salute you for the great job you did!! here's specs: Athlon64 2800+ Newcastle 1.8Ghz MSI K8N Neo Platinum mobo nVidia nforce 250Gb chipset 80gb seagate(dual boot with xp) onboard Realtek ALC850 7.1 audio(need to edit the kext,but its ok now) onboard LAN nForce 3 250Gb(doesn't work) GeForce4 MX 4000 640mb RAM Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2170-success/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not using it in Windows (I have a SB Live for it) and I do not want to install the drivers just to retrieve these IDs. Thanks in advance.
