Trankeo
Well i try to install Snow Leopard on my PC and expend a lot of hours trying solutions jaja My config is: MSI Board 7163 rev 1.0 (Mounted on HP Pavilion) Chipset: Intel H57 Processor: Intel Core i3 540 Ram:4Gb DDR3 VideoCard: HD4650 WifiCard: My iPhone 3G whit PDA NET.app XD Ethernet:RTL8168 Audio 7.1:ALC888 Well i installed it whit my usb a kingston whit 8 GB Follow this guide for make the USB Bootable And can install from it Leopard Well for booting use the P55BootCD-MSI.iso.zip When you are in the EFI BootScreen (Whit the USB plugged) Select your USB drive and don't press enter first type this cpus=2 busratio=22 (if you have my processor) if not try whit your own busratio Next the process start and ouch! The installation screen are soooo slowly (if you want you can put in your bios RAID mode to install leopard much faster, but only to install) when SL are installed you must put your bios in AHCI or "Still waiting for root device" message appears. When the screen installation appears (if dont work dont despair) select your Lenguage and wait... past 1 minute the screen change (1 minute for me for you i dont know) Well install leopard this procces are so fast Probably you get the error of Mac OS cannot be installed in your pc at the end of installation Don't worry click on restart and do the same procces of boot Select your Snow Leopard partition (not USB) and type cpus=2 busratio=22 or your own And tadaaaa! A brilliant OS X installation on your pc Next follow steps of ##### installation (and use #####) it works for me For my ATI HD 4650 i installed using KextHelperb7 "ATI4600controller.kext" "ATIRadeonX2000.kext" "EVOEnabler.kext" (In the 4600controller.kext i change my devid under "IOPCIMatch" for 0x94981002) (In ATIRadeonX2000.kext i changed under IOPCIMatch the last dev-id for mine 0x94981002) But whit this process only works VGA whit no full resolution, to work whit HDMI or DVI plug HDMI and DVI (Booth at the same time) and it works great! I actually have 1920x1080 at HDMI My system profiler detects ATI as ATI HD 4890 but doesn't matter it works! For Ethernet i install R1000.kext I wait this guide help someone whit i3 core or MSI board =) Tomorrow i Upload kext to mediafire Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/216891-msi-mobo-ati-hd-4650-sl-1062-succes/ Share on other sites
