eerieee
Hi Everybody! I have installed iDeneb 10.5.6 Distro on my Pc. my specs are: Gigabyte GY-MA770-UD3 ; AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black edition ; 8Gbyte RAM;Nvidia 8800 Gt. It recognises the processor ,but only one single core in the system profiler. I also ran a speed test, and it IS only one single core working. Anybody has any ideas? Please help! michael.su
I haven't done this presonally, but I have read it a couple times.... HIH go to the sudo nano /library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist and edit the cpus=1 to whatever you need. Worst comes to worst you can boot into single user mode and edit that back to cpus=1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/216622-how-to-get-all-4-cores-to-run-on-an-amd-system/#findComment-1456710 Share on other sites
