csb Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 I just installed OS X, and am having a problem booting. Durring booting when the output to the monitor changes from text to windowed mode (I don't know how to describe this other than the chage when you 'startx' in a linux enviroment), my computer get put into standby mode, so I press a key, it comes out of standby for ~5 sec. then will go back to standby. (I can't disable standby mode in the bios). Any sugestions?
