Thelgord
This upgrade has been a real nail biter for me. However, it was on a fresh install so it wasn't as if I was going to loose a lot in the process if anything died. The Hardware: Intel DG35EC mobo Intel Core 2 Qaud Q6600 4 Gigs Ram 500G WD HDD nVidea 8600 GTS w/512 mb Sceptre display at 1440x900x60hz Used the Voodoo.kext for audio Used OSX86Tools for the Video strings Standard Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Bootloader is Chameleon 2.0 RC3 r-640 (Yes I know their are newer version out. But this one continues to work without any issues on this mobo) After installing I got a kernal panic with a traceback to dsmos.kext. In my setup i found it in /Extra and /Extra/Extensions. I booted to the Retail DVD and deleted it from both locations. So far everything is working great.
